On behalf of the Officers, Board of Directors and entire Membership of the Acadian Home Builders Association (AHBA), I want to thank you for visiting our Web site.

The Acadian Home Builders Association is a local trade organization of almost 800 members who are affiliated in some way with the residential construction industry.  Formed in 1960, the Acadian Home Builders Association has been a long-standing partner in the Acadiana community.

Our membership consists of both builder (licensed contractors) and associate members whose mission is to promote professionalism and ethical business practices in providing quality housing that creates value for the homeowner and the community.

Over the years, I am sure that you have probably heard of or attended many of our community events that include the Blueprints Home, Garden and Leisure Show and the Parade of Homes, among others.  In 2005, we also introduced the Home for the Holidays, a raffle house project that enables us to give back to the community.

The members of AHBA are committed to the future growth and prosperity of Acadiana, as it is a wonderful place to live, work and play! Whether you are new in town or a long-time resident of Acadiana, the Acadian Home Builders Association can serve as an excellent resource for all of your home building or remodeling needs.
