Adrienne Breaux
Executive Officer

Adrienne has been with AHBA for over five years, serving first as Public Relations Coordinator and then as Assistant Director & Event Coordinator.  In her role as Executive Officer, Adrienne manages the day-to-day operations of the Association, represents the AHBA and its members throughout the community, works alongside the Board of Directors and monitors legislative issues affecting the construction industry, among other duties.  She received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and was recently selected as a participant of Leadership Lafayette XXIII.

 

Ginger Gamewell

Ginger has been with AHBA for over three years. She graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations. Prior to AHBA, she worked at a local PR and marketing firm. Ginger's duties include planning all AHBA events from monthly meetings to big productions such as The Home Garden & Lifestyle Show and Parade of Homes. She also manages the public relations for the association and serves as the web master for www.ahbaonline.com.

Yvette has also been on the AHBA staff for over five years. Her duties at the association include managing the financial books, handling membership applications and issues, and overseeing the maintainence the office and computer systems. Prior to working for AHBA, Yvette was employed at a local accounting firm.

Home for the Holidays 2010 Underway

Construction has begun on the 2010 Home for the Holidays project. Each year, the Acadian Home Builders Association builds a high-end dream home and raffles it off for charity. Now in its sixth year, the project has donated $625,000 to local Acadiana non-profit shelter organizations. Benefitting charities include Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, Faith House, Acadiana Youth Inc., and St. Michael Center for Veterans.
