Every year, the Acadian Home Builders Association hosts an evening of crawfish and good ol' Cajun bon temps! The Annual Crawfish Boil is a member favorite event, and 400 people pack the pavillion at Acadian Village each spring for food, dancing, and tons of fun!

Tickets for the event are on sale now and include 5 lbs. of crawfish, potatoes, corn, and sauce plus all you can drink soda and beer. A live music will also be provided by The Andy Smith Band. Tickets are $25 each and can be bought at the AHBA office at 135 N. Domingue in Lafayette. Alternatively, you can call us with your credit card info at (337) 981-3053 or mail a check to: AHBA Crawfish Boil, P.O. Box 60486, Lafayette, LA 70596-0486. Tickets will be mailed to you when payment is received. Late tickets purchased Monday, April 26th or Tuesday, April 27th are $35 each. Absolutely no tickets are sold after April 26th or at the door. Home for the Holidays 2010 Underway

Construction has begun on the 2010 Home for the Holidays project. Each year, the Acadian Home Builders Association builds a high-end dream home and raffles it off for charity. Now in its sixth year, the project has donated $625,000 to local Acadiana non-profit shelter organizations. Benefitting charities include Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, Faith House, Acadiana Youth Inc., and St. Michael Center for Veterans.
