Home for the Holidays 2010 Underway
Construction has begun on the 2010 Home for the Holidays project. Each year, the Acadian Home Builders Association builds a high-end dream home and raffles it off for charity. Now in its sixth year, the project has donated $625,000 to local Acadiana non-profit shelter organizations. Benefitting charities include Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, Faith House, Acadiana Youth Inc., and St. Michael Center for Veterans.
AHBA needs your help! A project of this size would not be possible without the participation of many local companies. If you are interested in donating labor or materials to the 2010 Home for the Holidays, contact the AHBA office at (337) 981-3053. |
