AHBA Events For over fifty years, AHBA has provided the community with quality, locally-produced events such as The Home, Garden and Lifestyle Show and the Parade of Homes, each showcasing the latest products and information from the residential construction industry. The association also hosts annual events for its members which include monthly General Membership Meetings (GMMs), the AHBA Annual Crawfish Boil, and the Doug Ashy, Sr. Invitational Golf Tournament.Working together with project partner KATC-TV 3, the Acadian Home Builders Association also produces the annual Home for the Holidays project. This fundraising event raises money for local charitable shelter organizations and has given $750,000 back to Acadiana since its inception in 2005.
