Member Spotlight (MAP Participants)

The Membership Advantage Program (MAP) is one in which current members of the Acadian Home Builders Association agree to offer to their fellow members discounts for their products/services. All AHBA members in good standing (current membership) are eligible to receive said discounts. Each month, a new MAP participant will be featured. C.B. Talley was born in New Iberia and graduated from New Iberia Catholic High School. He then moved to Lafayette where he finished college at the University of Southwestern Louisiana with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and then pursued a post-graduate concentrated area of study in Real Estate Appraisal.

As one of the largest appraisal firms in Acadiana, C.B. Talley, LC has been providing the six parish area with professional, courteous, and timely service since 1986. Home for the Holidays 2010 Underway

Construction has begun on the 2010 Home for the Holidays project. Each year, the Acadian Home Builders Association builds a high-end dream home and raffles it off for charity. Now in its sixth year, the project has donated $625,000 to local Acadiana non-profit shelter organizations. Benefitting charities include Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, Faith House, Acadiana Youth Inc., and St. Michael Center for Veterans.
